A Young Muslim’s Guide to Careers

In these sessions, we interview professionals in various careers. These are individuals who are both devoted to Islam and successful in their careers. Our purpose is: 

• to expose young Muslims to careers off the beaten path (i.e., outside of healthcare, engineering, and IT) to expand their career horizons.
• to alert them to the moral challenges in various career paths and possible solutions.
• to give them advice on ways to make the best use of their time at university and during summer vacation.
• to connect attendees to mentors in strong professional positions.
• to help young women weigh their options of pursuing a career alongside family life or taking on the important job of raising children and making a home full time.
